These are your criteria for your project and should all be in Hierarchical order.
Design Specification This is a specification linked to the design of your products, what you intend them to look like. The target group you are trying to aim the product at and the impact you like your product to have. Click here to view the outline Specification
Product Specification This specification links specifically to the product you are producing. You may state here certain things you want your product to have or do. This is then linked and emphasised by the following two specifications.
Qualitative Specification

These are the criteria linked to the quality of your product.
Target Group Who is your product aimed at?
Materials/
Equipment
What is the feel or look you want to have from the product?
Do you have equipment available for the manufacturing method you have chosen?
Colour Do you need a specific colour to the product?
Aesthetics What do you want your product to look like? Will this be suitable for the image of the product?
Function What is the job of your product?
What do you want it to do?
Quantitative Specification

These are the criteria linked to measurable parts of the product.
Cost What cost restrictions do you have on your product?
Size Do you have to have a specific size to your products?
Weight What weight does your product have to be? Do you have to be able to move it after construction?
Colours This is a criteria if you are using a colour chart.
Time What are the time restrictions on your production?
